Located in Dayton, Ohio, the Institute offers degree programs including photography, graphic design, multimedia, criminal justice, and healthcare. The following are examples of programs offered at the Ohio Institute of Photography and Technology:

  • Photography

    Students in photography programs can choose from either diploma or degree programs and can specialize in general applied photography, biomedical photography, commercial photography, or photographic portraiture. Each program prepares students to qualify for an entry-level position in photography where they can gain the 2-5 years of experience recommended before opening their own photo studio.

  • Graphic Design

    In the associate of applied science degree in graphic design program, students complete courses in illustration, digital animation, and multimedia. The curriculum also includes marketing, business ethics, communications, and interpersonal skills courses to prepare students for an entry-level graphic design job.

  • Multimedia

    The associate of applied science degree in multimedia focuses on courses in electronic media and digital production. Students learn media design and how to combine graphics, audio, and video in preparation for entry-level positions in graphic, web, and video design.

  • Criminal Justice

    Students in the associate of applied business degree in criminal justice program are prepared for entry-level positions in the criminal justice field such as law enforcement, corrections, and private security. This program is represented to lead to multiple job opportunities and is not meant to lead to any particular outcome, including that specified in the program title. Although the Ohio Institute of Photography and Technology will assist the student with job placement, finding a job is the ultimate responsibility of the student.

  • Healthcare

    Students in healthcare programs can select from an associate of applied science in medical office management or a diploma in medical assisting or pharmacy technician. The curriculum prepares students through business and medical training courses for entry-level positions in healthcare.
